The first part of the evening will feature evocative original compositions by the flute and percussion duo. Far removed from common clichés, they create a unique sound world with an unusual and exotic array of instruments.

The second part of the evening will be performed by the quartet of saxophonist and 1995 Jazz Prize winner Ekkehard Rössle. His music blends intensity, coolness, elegance, discipline, and wildness into a unique mix. Much of the tradition of the European Impressionists flows into his playing. (Stuttgarter Zeitung)
