Swiss percussionist Pierre Favre, one of the masters and pioneers of improvised solo percussion, will perform.
He is also known for his collaborations with musicians such as John Aberrombie, Jasper van't Hof, Kenny Wheeler, and many others.
From the realm of classical percussion comes Katarzyna Mycka.
She is one of the most interesting young classical percussionists in Europe, as evidenced by her first prize at the International Marimba Competition in Luxembourg in 1995.
The university's percussion ensemble will combine composition and improvisation to create an exciting concert program.
