Branko Arnsek's musical palette stretches from the Balkans to Cuba. The Slovenian-born jazz bassist and his superb sextet, augmented by Cuban singer Johana Jo Jones, clothe these influences in a modern, contemporary jazz style on the nine compositions of his debut album, “Move Closer!” Music without clichés, but with plenty of fresh energy.

The Cuban Orquestra takes a more classical approach, serving up a journey through pre-revolutionary Cuba. This authentic Cuban salon orchestra excels at interpreting the old Cuban classics.
