The jazz bassist of Slovenian descent, with his excellent sextet expanded to include the Cuban singer Johana Jo Jones, dresses these influences in a modern, contemporary jazz guise in the nine compositions of his debut album “Move Closer!”. Music without clichés, but with a lot of fresh air. The Cuban Orquestra is more classic, offering a journey through pre-revolutionary Cuba. This authentic Cuban salon orchestra knows how to interpret the old Cuban classics excellently.
